Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to all treatments and programs offered by Maya Holistic Therapy, performed by Astrid Narain. By making an appointment, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Nature of the treatment

Treatments are complementary in nature and are not a substitute for regular medical care. The client remains responsible for his or her health and (medical) actions at all times.

Appointments and cancellations

Appointments can be canceled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance.

• For cancellations within 24 hours, 50% of the rate will be charged.

• If you do not show up without canceling, the full rate will be charged.

Confidentiality and records

All information shared during sessions will be treated confidentially. Information will only be shared with third parties with your express consent or if required by law.

Payment

• Treatments are paid for in cash or by bank transfer after completion.

• For courses, payment is due after the first session.

• In the event of non-payment, statutory interest and collection costs may be charged.

Liability

Maya Holistic Therapy is not liable for damage caused by incomplete information or failure to follow advice. Liability is limited in all cases to the amount charged for the session or program.

Complaints

Maya Holistic Therapy is affiliated with the CAT (Collectief Alternatief Therapeuten, Collective Alternative Therapists). Any complaints can be reported via the independent disputes committee GAT (www.gatgeschillen.nl).

Privacy Statement – Maya Holistic Therapy

Maya Holistic Therapy processes personal data exclusively for the proper execution of treatments and administration. Personal data is stored carefully and securely.

What data is collected?

• Name (Not full name), email address, phone number

• Health information (During intake and sessions)

What is your data used for?

• For drawing up and implementing a treatment plan

• For contact and communication

• For invoicing and administration (in accordance with tax law)

How long will your data be stored?

• Health records: up to 20 years after the last session (WGBO)

• Invoices: 7 years (Tax legislation)

Your rights

• You have the right to:

• Access your file

• Correct or delete data

• Object to data processing

• Transfer data upon request

Security
